We know that receiving a uterine cancer diagnosis can be a scary and challenging experience, and we are here to support you through the journey. We have dedicated staff, exceptional volunteers, and a community of women who have gone through, or are still going through the challenges of dealing with this disease. We are here for you through any and all stages of uterine / endometrial cancer.

Click on the "Wellness Support" button below to connect with us and other women who have been diagnosed with a form of uterine cancer. You'll be so glad you did!

Start Strong!

We encourage you to do the following things after receiving a uterine cancer diagnosis:

Find a gynecologic oncologist

Women whose surgery was performed by a gynecologic oncologist have better outcomes than patients whose surgeons were not gynecologic oncologists.

Join a uterine cancer support group

Consider joining a uterine cancer support group where you can share information and support with other women. The Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance has a Uterine / Endometrial Wellness Cancer Support Group that meets the second and fourth Monday of every month from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. SHARE, an organization in New York also has some great virtual support groups for women who have been diagnosed with uterine cancer.

Stay informed, but limit internet time

There is a lot of information available about uterine cancer on the internet. Stay informed without becoming overwhelmed. Take the information you find with you to doctor visits to discuss. However, if you get depressed or overwhelmed moderate your exposure and time on the internet.

Understanding Uterine Cancer Treatments

Navigating and understanding treatment options are critical for a uterine cancer patient's survival. All treatment decisions should be made by a patient in consultation with their medical professional.

We have some great resources that can help you through your uterine cancer journey!

  • Nicki's Circle Wellness Support Group - we provide ongoing support for women who have received a uterine cancer diagnosis by facilitating this support group two times per month. This is a safe space where women can connect, share information, and support each other.

  • Financial Navigation - We have two great financial advocates that can work with you to maximize your insurance coverage, help you enroll in an insurance plan, look for funds to help you through your treatment, etc.

  • Cancer Resource Guide - This resource guide was created by COCA to assist women in Colorado through their cancer journey!
